Not for products manufactured in USA. What UPS charges is brooker's fee not customs charges. With the free trade if something is built in US we don't have customs fee to pay. UPS charges us for the brrokerage fee, wich is at their entire discretion.

That's why we don't pay that much with USPS. They only charge what it costs to carry the items.

Paid for my 3 gallon tank today. Steve is the one I talked to and he indicated that maybe I would have my clear one in a week or so I am waiting and looking forward to it, Berwyn

Where "They" is Canada Post. UPS in USA is not the problem, it is UPS in Canada that is. I have not used Canada UPS once since they charged me about $60 brokerage for a $125 set of saddlebags, 13 years ago!
Since then it's been USPS + Canada Post for everything. If a company insists on UPS I don't buy from them.

However, I just called & ordered both tanks & they're happy to hold the blue one until the black one is done so that they can ship together & maybe save a couple dollars!

How difficult is the install? I have jetted a lot of carbs but this will be my first time wrestling a fuel pump.

Not hard at all... Not at all.

Ordered mine yesterday.

The blaks should start shipping in 2 or 3 weeks.

I was the 11th Person to call. But one of the first "naturals". I have not received any shipping conformation yet nor has my credit card been charged. Abel thought that it might be shipped out Tuesday, I thought he meant like yesterday but maybe he was talking about next Tuesday. Has anyone else received a shipping conformation or been charged yet?

I have, the day I talked to him it went on. Meef, give them a call. 800-237-9906 I forwarded a huge spreadsheet with everyone's e-mail who is on here, and a bunch from ADV. There are a few missing e-mails from ADV, all of you guys on here had them put in as I simply went into the database and retrieved them. Can't quite do that over there. So there are going to be a few guys missing out by not giving me their e-mails even after asking them repeatedly. Not much I can do about that.

I was hoping you were going to get in on this because if there was ever a WR Adventure rider that could use a 3.0 + gallon tank, your WR would be my first pick!

I cannot tell all of you how pleased you are going to be with the extra range. Low Fuel is going to come a whole lot later and by the sounds of it, low fuel might provide a whole lot more distance before going dry as well! The 2.8 gallon I have been using has been a godsend.

I'm still waiting on my confirmation email. I will probably get some feedback from a couple of you before I even get to order it since I was low on the list. I check my email a couple times a day to see if it showed up. I'm dying to put this plastic tank on since I've done almost everything I could to get this thing as close to a regular dirt bike as possible. This is one of the big steps in the right direction.

Thanks SheWolf.... I must say, I have owned a LOT of bikes over the years, but this WRR is the most awesome.... Last Fall, I rode an XT250 from Fort Worth, TX to Idaho and back... was going to do it again last month, this time on the WR - the fuel injection should handle the altitudes much better than tha carburated XT... but reality struck and I had to postpone that trip.

I will a long trip on it soon, though.

Love this site, too... makes owning one even better.
