It depends, one torxscrew stripped over and i had to use brute force to untight it, they are glued in tight. It was was not easy and now i have some scratchmarks at the enginecover. You can lever the seal out with a bigger screwdriver and when you press the new one in, you need a metaltool/ring or something like that, so you dont damage the new seal. put something plan on top to ensure its horizontal and measure the hights with a caliper. And be carefull when you put the impellerrod into the new seal, you can damage it easily (happened to me and i bought a new one to be safe).
It is doable when you are carefull and think twice what to do next.

You dont need to change the ballbearing like him.
Do you have a service manual?
Awesome thank you for the input I have to do this soon. I don’t have a service manual, I’ll have to find one before I start to tear into it
