Brake Pad Help Empty
PostSubject: Brake Pad Help   Brake Pad Help EmptyThu Jun 09, 2011 7:37 am

Having changed the rotors / pads on cars before I decided to take off my front wheel / brake pads for some nice cleaning, and I need some help because I might be bike-retarded.

Can someone post a pic how the bottom brake pad spring should sit when properly installed?

I got mine all back together and such, but upon hand rotating the wheel I hear a clicky noise like the rotor is catching on the spring.

Went for a ride, seems to work fine, but I can still hear the noise which concerns me.

Update: Went for second ride, can no longer hear the noise when rolling the bike in neutral. Hmmm.

I apologize if this is in the wrong section, thanks!
