PostSubject: Attitude Industries costumer service   Attitude Industries costumer service EmptyTue Jul 14, 2009 4:19 pm

I just wanted to share with everyone my personal experience with Attitude Industries. Their customer service SUCKS! I called a week and a half ago on friday stating that I'm leaving for vacation in 2 weeks time and if it was possible to get the tuner before I had left. Derek actually answered his phone as he was about to get on a flight, which I thought was awesome of him. He said we could do a 3 day delivery. After I emailed him my info (credit card, address, etc) I had to wait till Tuesday for it to be "shipped." Not too bad, but I did put that in quotes. I have asked via email 3 or 4 different times asking for a tracking number (UPS) and never got any reply, however when i asked if it was shipped, I did (it was in between asking for the tracking). So I called today and left a message with my number and email address asking once again for a tracking number. Still no reply. Pretty shady if you ask me. I've been charged for the tuner and it was a little more money then what I saw others have paid, so I assume it was charged with the faster delivery. Yet I have no actual way of knowing where it is, or if it really has been sent.

.....and I leave in 2 days! GREAT JOB!

Costumer service gets a 2/10 in my book.....could have went with FMF for the trouble I've gone through with this place.
(just thought I would let everyone know my troubles, and sorry to bitch :) )

They must be busy people, as they never returned my call when I was ready to order. I went with the FMF programmer and got it in four days from oemcycle.

It's a small company from what I know and yes...there are some things they could do to improve their customer service.

However....the product seems to be of good quality and if you have patience you can be happy with them.

I was surprised that I did not get a tracking number for my unit until I'd emailed twice and then called when I got no response.

I was also surprised that when I got my unit there were no installation instructions, or operating instructions. Just the unit in a box with a small baggy of parts, and that was it. baldy

A few simple typed out pages with a picture or two would have been great.

I'm grateful that Shewolf was able to easily walk me through the simple process of using this unit other-wise I'd have been a bit more frustrated with the whole deal.

That being said....I did save some coin, and I did get a quality unit from what I can tell so far. Hopefully it'll pass the test of time too.

eeek Yikes!! I've never had a problem with Derek answering his phone. Every time I've called him he's answered, and I got the tracking number off him the day he shipped it. dunno There is an instruction guide on the website as it was sent along with the order conformation I got from him...sorry you went thru that guys, I wished there was something I could do.

I found a new WR250R FMF programmer on Ebay with a "Buy It Now" price of $150.00 including freight (to Alaska). I snapped it up. The guy bought it but never installed it before he sold the bike. Figured that was about as good a price as I was going to get...

Small start up companies like Attitude can be great to deal with or a pain. Been there done that, I'll stick with more established firms for this type of stuff.

I had no problems getting my AI programmer.
Directions were lacking, but details on their webpage and instructions in this forum were great.

It's been running prefectly for about a year now, no complaints.

I agree what some others have said: it's a small company, sometimes they get busy. If that's not good enough, spend your $ elsewhere.

I'm a happy AI customer. thumb

We all get busy,
I work construction. Regardless of what is taking place our company policy is #1 take care of the client.
They are the ones signing the check.
In regards to being busy they weren't to busy to charge my credit card the first day I talked to them, yet to busy to send the product for three weeks.
Yes I will spend my money elsewere. If I can get it back.
Just figure folks should know what may be in store for them should they decide to deal with these people.
It should minimize the dissapointment.
I ordered this six weeks before a race in Nevada with the idea I would have time to iron out any wrinkles.
My suggestion if you order give about eight weeks.

Customer non service update:
Actually talked to Derek last Monday.
Let him know the programmer he finaly sent would be arriving back at his door step.
Reviewed the credit card information to be sure to get a credit back.
according to the USPS tracking number as of 1:28 PM today he has not accepted the package.
acording to my credit card company a credit has not been issued either.
Just keeping potential customers apraised of the service currently available before spending a bunch of money.

PostSubject: Sorry for the unhappy guys   Attitude Industries costumer service EmptyTue Aug 09, 2011 3:10 pm

Sorry that some of you have had a bad experiance. We have been in litagation with our manufactor and it is now getting settled. Some people ordered boxes and our manufactor did not meet dead lines on product delivery which left us out of stock on products and unable to deliver. We kept teeling customers there orders where comming as we were told our boxes were comming. Needless to say a lot of unhappy people.

We are a small shop and have had some growning pains. But we are now in our new 3500sq ft shop and back on track.

We have also lowered prices and will beat anybodys prices by 10% for a new product.

As for phone calls we say DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAG. We answer hundreds of calls and we just dont have time to check messages. Email or just call back.

Also all instruction are on the web we do not ship instructions.

Well with the VM service they dont have a option to not leave a message. This is why we say it, when we had no message system people complain. No matter what you wont please anybody, so I guess if they cant listen to the message and call back I'd chalk it up to them not listening, lol.
