So, I bought a used PC-V from Execelon. He shipped is the second he got my money and I had it in my hands 24 hours later.

I got the whole kit-n-kaboodle. The PC-V unit, the cd-rom, the instructions, the usb cable, and even the original purchase receipt. All in the original box. thumb bow Very happy

If anyone has a chance to buy things from Execelon - you won't be sorry. Top notch guy and you get exactly what he advertises and potentially more.

At any rate here's some pics.

So, initial impressions.

Upon start up, while bike was still on side stand, I noticed an immediate change in the smell of the exhaust. Much sweeter and oddly enough, almost enjoyable.

Second thing I noticed quickly was throttle response. Since the PC-V has a connection for the throttle position sensor, I expected it to be noticeable, and it was. The response is far crisper and quicker with the PC-V.

In multiple gears at different rpm's it definitely felt like whacking the throttle open had a stronger, and quicker hit. No hesitation.

Unfortunately it started to rain so my "test" ride was cut short.

I have the 22-016-006 map loaded.
It's for a leo vince x3 exhaust, open air box, stock air filter, no spark arrestor

Can't wait to get some more time riding with this unit.

Hearing your comparison makes me all the more happy that I went PCV the first time.

I rode into work this morning, and the low gas light came on. So I'll get a really good idea of how my fuel consumption is with the PC-V as well.

I can say without question the throttle response is noticeably stronger using the PC-V.

I don't feel like I have to stretch the throttle cables to get the bike moving.

Whack her open and she goes. Very happy

Really looking forward to a weekend joy ride to wring things out more.

http://www.powercommander.com/powercommander/Contact/powercommander_sales_support.aspx <-- clicky

Go to above link and send a request to get more maps loaded.

Takes about 30 seconds and maybe if enough people do it we can get a few more.
