Stanley Cup 2010

To be honest, throughout most of the season, and even deep into the second round I've not thought the Flyers could be a threat. How many goalies have they been through? Seven and counting?

But now...now I'm caught in the fever again. Game 6 tonight in Philadelphia. Once again, a goalie change forced about mid-way through game 5. it's just kind of a Cinderella story of sorts.

I'd love love love to see Montreal and Philadelphia in the conference finals. That would be awesome.
A 7th and 8th place conference finals would be fun to watch.

My NHL season ended saturday when Detroit got knocked out. However, our IHL team the Flint Generals are in the finals against the Fort Wayne, IN Komets.

Detroit is allso my favorit team after Toronto. Sorry for the loss but as a Detroitfan we can att least look back on many great seasons.

Only 6 teams in NHL history have been behind three games to zero and then come back to force a seventh game.

The Flyers are only the third team in history to win that seventh game.

Plus, the Flyers won that seventh game on the road and after being down three goals to nothing before coming back and winning 4-3.

It was a spectacular story.

Along with all that the Flyers had a starting goalie injury in game 5, and had to use a different goalie that rest of the series.

Just a great display of tenacity and heart.

The Habs will DECIMATE those Philly's. We will take it in 4 straight. Nothing will get by Halak !!!

I watched that game 7. It was awesome. After being down 3 - 0 in the series, then 3 - 0 in game 7, you have to give this Flyers team some credit. With a team that can do that, anything is possible. I live just across the river from Philly so this is exciting. However, my true passion is MLB and the Phillies.

We're just warming up, just like the last two series.

Too early to be uber-cocky...but I will remind you to read the last two of your three sentences.

At the very least, you were wrong 66.66666666666% in your projected scenario.

Both teams have proved they can come back from being down....so lets just take each game one at a time.

The Habs defeated the best team in the league and the former Stanley cup winners.

Imagine if the Flyers defeat them.

Hell yes, playing hockey we have ran into many players at the local arenas and even Chelios at a Kid Rock concert, and they are usually very classy people, (b.s., pics, etc.)

Yeah I like it, it's in between the major events in Detroit (sports & concerts) and all the sweet-ass trails up north.
