| 3 shut-out wins and one ass-whoopin...now headed back to Philly for game 5. Can't get cocky as the Flyers were once up 3-1 on the Devils in Conference finals and lost the series. I love that the Flyers totally silenced the Hab fans today. I also love the fans getting all butt-hurt every time a Montreal player is knocked down but no penalty is called. This is playoff hockey people. Every dive, and every check that ends in a HAB off his skates does not automatically equal penalty. Sheeeshh..... _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| The Habs are tou for good. Do you think the Flyers will be able to sustain the Hawk's speed and weight. They are big enough to clear the front of their goals. It's not like the Habs. | |

| All I can dream about right now is that the Flyers can win at least one in Chicago. I've totally underestimated the Flyers all season (as have most). I still can't grasp the fact that they've made it this far, and in the fashion that they did it. I was in elementary school when they last won the Stanley Cup. I'd like to see another Cup in Philly before I die. Preferrably more than one and even more preferrably this year!!!!!! _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Maybe the other teams got the Phily flue from the 70's . A icehockey player from my home town Börje Salming described the Phily flue back in the day. As a diseace that players in Maple leafs got when they where going to play Flyers in Philadelpia. Caused by Broad street bullies. | |

My hopes more than credibility. But anyway since my regional team is out I'm to. Since I'm interested in professional hockey only for the finals when our team is involved, I'll leave the final to other fans. Go anyone ! go.

You are the same age as me so I know the feeling. My parents were born and raised in South Philly and I grew-up just across the river from the Spectrum. Go Flyers!

| 10 goals in first 40 minutes of hockey??? Flyers change goalies back to Booooochhh???? Flyers lose game one 6-5. Who do/should they start in goal on Monday??? I watched just enough of the western conference finals to know that Chicago is not going to be easy at all, but damn.....was there too much time between the last series and the finals???? Is game one just an anomaly? We shall see tomorrow I guess.... _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| Harsh skierd....harsh... It was an entertaining series and it's obvious the best team won. I'm a bit sad at the Flyers loss, but based on what they did this season I think any and every Flyers fan and player can, and should hold thier heads high. Copngrats to Chicago. _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

| From my point of view it shows that the regular season doesn't mean anything anymore. The teams expressed themselves only in the eliminations part. It's sad that a team that was the winner based on 80 games gets eliminated on a 7 games basis. At least the hockey played durnig the eliminations was captivating to follow. | |

Are you suggesting the Stanley Cup just be given to the team with the best record at the end of an 82 game season - with no playoffs? _________________ 2008 WR250X Gearing: 13t - 48t Power Commander 5 / PC-V Airbox Door Removed - Flapper glued - AIS removed FmF Q4 Bridgestone Battlax BT-003rs

Are you suggesting the Stanley Cup just be given to the team with the best record at the end of an 82 game season - with no playoffs? I'm not a fan so I'm not trying to blow anything. I stopped following the game when the shear pleasure of playing has been replaced by the show business. I suggest that the bests of each division fight for the cup. The way it is right now, most of the teams have no reason to finish first in the season since it lessens their choices of new players. The urgency during the season is only to be in the first 8, not to be the bests. But then it's only the opinion of a lurker and my life doesn't depend on that.
