Rear brake light actuator Empty
PostSubject: Rear brake light actuator   Rear brake light actuator EmptyTue Aug 03, 2010 11:40 am

The rod that actuates the rear brake light switch is very delicate. When riding offroad, this actuator rod can get bent easily and the rear brake light will stay lit. This happened to me yesterday so beware of this potential problem. The good news is that the actuator rod is very easy to straighten.

This concerns me for riders who leave the woods without knowing their rear brake light is no longer changing brightness when brakes are applied. A buddy noticed mine was stuck on, which is good because I would have never noticed this.
