How many miles do you have on your WR250R/X ???

Riding around the world on my WR

I had the valves checked at 30,000 miles and they were right in the middle of the spectrum.

I'm now at 40,000 and going strong.

Will probably do a top end rebuild at 55 - 60,000

mine is currently on 64000km (39700miles) going to get the valves adjusted for the second time next week and it could do with a clutch soon....

36,000km, 2000+ engine hours. Albeit with a new cylinder, but had it not swallowed dust, would still have been
absolutely fine.

Has anyone recently checked their mileage?

There's a local WRR for sale with 90,000km

70500km's there abouts...needs a second valve adjustment and i will get a new cam chain at the same time $$$$

I bought my 2019 r on april 27th and I'm at 10k miles havent had a single issue I bounce revlimiter and ride wheelies ride some pretty serious single track bike gets beat on pretty good I just change my oil at 2k miles instead of normal

My new to me 2008 WR250X has about 5,000 miles.

80‘000km WR 250R 2008 but make now new parts for the engine

10k mi for me. Mostly street, some highway, some trails, some mx tracks. I'm trying to buy a set of supermoto rims + tires and then have full mx tires on the stock rims and just rock both worlds haha

12,988 miles after 92 yesterday. 12,987 bouncing off the rev limiter!

I've had my 2012 WRR for only a few months, and it has about 7k miles on it, but I know a guy who has well over 20,000 miles on his with no problems.

A 2008 just sold in MN for $2k with over 42,000 miles on it. Looked in good shape and seller said it ran great.

Wow, can we spark this thread back up? I’d like to hear updates of some of these mileage posts. I’ve been wondering the same thing lately. My R has just over 24,300 on it with day 1 compression and no sign of leaks. Can’t remember if I ever had the 12k mile service done on it, but I broke it in very methodically and did oil changes every 1500 miles and a chain and oil filter every other oil change. It’s been thru 1 battery, a couple of fuses and a set of fork seals. These bikes are unbelievably reliable. When I eventually open the motor I’ll probably install the Athena 290 big bore kit. Anyone have decent mileage on their bike after a bore kit?

2014 - 17,500 miles. Runs good, shifts good. I've noticed a bit of a power decline as the miles rack up. Noticeable cam chain noise on the first 3 seconds of a cold start.

Been lazy since last post
Cam chain changed(probably didn't need it)and valve adjustment plus new clutch

Wow, that's good to know. I love how Yamaha has the valves set so well that they can go that long without servicing them. They had their sport bikes set up the same... check valves at 26,500 miles.
