New FMF Power Programmer Installed - Dont Think It Is Workin

I just installed an FMF Power Programmer FI Kit and I dont think it is working correctly. The instructions state that at startup the green LEDs should scroll acrossed for a few seconds and then go to flashing green. My LED's do not scroll and simply the #1 light slowly flashes green with no other lights doing anything. When I give the bike throttle the #2 and #3 LED's come on. If I throttle hard they light up through #4 and then turn red during decel. I am new to FI bikes so any help is appreciated.

The bike sounds like it is running well but I do smell fuel which I did not before the install. Throttle response seems really good too. Any thoughts? I would call Dobeck but they are closed until Monday.

I have the same issue with mine. I don't get the scrolling lights. I get a flashing light that according to the instructions means there is a problem with the installation, but I have double checked and it is installed correctly. It definitely works, and I can really feel the adjustments so I just figure there is something wrong with the start up sequence or something. The previous owner put it on, so I don't know if he screwed something up or not, but it all seems to be working fine even though it doesn't scroll the LEDs during startup.

I had the same problem, sent email to dobeck(the manufacturer) reply was

"FMF PP bought after Aug, 2010 for the WR250R will not scroll after engine start up. Yes our Green looks yellowish to some people and yellow is a redish orange. From what you have stated on what you observed the unit is working correctly. "

I watched the video above, took a few goes but I eventually got the hang of it, you just have watch for the sequence of the lights, good luck

Thanks for this info. I knew mine was working, but still felt uneasy about it not scrolling.

The LED colors are a bit wonky, but they go in sequence when you push the mode button.
