| If anyone from that area who has one, pipe up pls. Mine to BC took just under a couple of weeks, but then it had to clear customs and all that shit. _________________ A wolf's voice echoed down the mountain 'Share the bounty of the hunt with your brothers and sisters, and forever be strong and free.' | |

| A couple of weeks is acceptable, I have time. If it's in the months or "when they get around to it" I'll order now. Need it September. | |

| For those who have aftermarket tanks, what size is it and how far have you gone (distance-wise) on a tank?
And maybe mention the kind of riding you were doing as well.
Thanks.

| Furthest I've gotten on a tank with the 3.1gal before the light came on is 172 (american) miles. Worst is about 120-130, damn near ran it dry last night at 150 miles and 3.14 (american) gallons. | |

| Hey, I'm thinking of locating my heated grips button on the plastic panel ("D" in manual) in front of the coolant reservoir. I'm probably going to upgrade to the IMS 3.1 gallon tank. Does anyone know how tight it is in there with the larger tank? The heated grips switch has wires protruding out the back so I need about 1 1/4" behind the plastic panel (toward the top of the panel). Thanks!
If anyone is upgrading to the new larger tank, and is going to sell their 3.1 gallon, I'd be interested.

And maybe mention the kind of riding you were doing as well. After 15 years of riding with a small fuel blivet, I finally got the 3.1 gal. Only one run to empty while keeping an eye on the odometer. 228 km until reserve light came on. 75 km until the bike started sputtering for fuel. Call it about 310 Km; about 180 miles. I have a speedo healer installed but I corrected for speed, not for correct odometer. I'll try and remember to do a GPS run to empty if I think of it.
